The Madhesh government's expenditure is the highest ever

Madhesh state government has spent 71 percent of the budget in the current financial year. As of Wednesday (the last day of payment), the Madhesh government has spent the highest amount in the current financial year 2081/082.

Compared to last year, this amount is about 14.28 percent more. The Madhesh government was able to spend only 55.75 percent last year.

Finance Secretary of Madhesh Government Ramkumar Mahato informed that 71.48 percent of the budget has been spent in the current and capitalized till the last payment period of June 25th. 

The Madhesh government had brought a budget of 43.89 billion 21 lakh 70 thousand rupees for the current financial year. Secretary Mahato said that 31 billion 375 million 52 lakh 43 thousand budget has been spent in capital and operational.

According to him, 21 billion 49 million 79 million 31 thousand have been spent out of the budget of 28 billion 61 million 20 million 74 thousand. This is a total of 75.64 percent of the capital budget. 

Similarly, 9 billion 87 crore 73 lakh 12 thousand have been spent out of a budget of 15 billion 28 crore 96 thousand. This is 64.64 percent of the total current expenditure. This expenditure of the Madhesh state government is the highest so far compared to the previous fiscal year.

In this current fiscal year, only 28.52 percent of the budget has been frozen. In the last financial year 2080/081, they spent 55.75 percent and in the financial year 079/080, they spent 57.42 percent.
