Controversy over the formation of a task force to correct the error in Madhesh's budget

Even though the government and the opposition have agreed to form a task force to correct the errors found in the budget for the coming financial year brought by the Madhesh state government, there is a dispute.

The opposition is of the opinion that there should not be a minister i.e. the representative of the government in the working group, while the government has also kept Physical Infrastructure Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav as a member of the working group.

Yadav is also the leader of the CPN-UML parliamentary party. Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal's chief whip Ram Ashish Yadav agreed as soon as the Speaker announced that a six-member working group had been formed under the leadership of Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal on Thursday.

He says that he should keep the ruling party in the working group but should not be a minister. Since the government brought the budget on June 1, the budget has not been discussed yet. MPs from six opposition parties have been blocking the House for four days regularly.
