The son-in-law who stabbed his father-in-law to death has been arrested. On Wednesday, the Dhanusha police arrested the son-in-law Bechan Mahaseth on the charge of murdering 65-year-old Vasudev Prasad Sah of Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-15.

He is accused of murdering Vasudev on 18 June. Dhanusha SP Narahari Regmi informed that the murder was due to a domestic dispute. According to him, disputes related to household and transactions have been seen. The police also recovered a knife and a scooter bearing the number 02-007P 9932 on which the accused was riding.

Shail Devi, the wife of the deceased, filed a complaint and was arrested from Khajuri railway station on Tuesday, the police said. Further research is being done on this matter.
