It has been revealed that Tourism Development Office Lahan, Siraha is collecting commission from Shubalakshmi Engineering Consultancy located in Rajviraj Municipality-8 of Saptari.

Based on the complaint filed by the local consumer committee, the matter came to light after the team of the district administration office raided the consultancy on Monday and recovered eight files including the sub-engineer of the office.  Surendra Kumar Yadav, the sub-engineer of the

office, has been detained and some of the recovered files have government seals. Jitendra Kumar Paswan, Information Officer of District Administration Office Saptari, said that those documents have been sent to District Administration Office Siraha for processing. "Employees and consultancy are being investigated," he said. The

team has also taken BAC No. 6970 Scorpio and Ko8P No. 7212 motorcycle which was being ridden by Sub-Engineer Yadav . As soon as the team reached the consultancy, sub-engineer Yadav, Shyam Das, an employee of the consultancy, and the official of the consumer committee tried to escape. office, has 'switched up' the mobile phone. His house is also Rajviraj. The file has been being prepared for payment by taking commission from the consultancy named after local Asha Das since June. According to the 'video clip' received by Kantipur, Sub-Engineer Yadav informed the head of the office Das to pay after collecting Rs 120,000 after 'bargaining' with the consumer committee.
