Siraha police have arrested two people with drug brown sugar and cash.
The team of the local police office, Lahan, arrested two people from Lahan municipality-11 Padaria tol on Thursday.
Among those arrested are local 28-year-old Mithlesh Kumar Chaudhary and Rajnandan Chaudhary, who is estimated to be 24 years old. Both of them were arrested from Mithilesh's house in the afternoon, according to District Police Office, Siraha.
The police team reached there based on the information that drug dealing was going on from Mithilesh's house. In that sequence, 124.62 grams of brown sugar, 286,710 Nepali and 1250 Indian rupees in cash were recovered.
According to the police, one piece of digital scale, one piece of scissors, two pieces of mobile, one piece of gold tilhari, one piece of necklace have also been recovered from that house. Siraha Police Spokesperson DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan said that further investigation is underway on them.
