A 65-year-old man was stabbed to death in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city. On Wednesday morning, Vasudev Sah of Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-15, Kuwarampur died when his son-in-law stabbed him due to a land dispute, police said.
According to Dhanusha Police Spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Varun Bahadur Singh, Sah, who was seriously injured due to a knife attack, died at Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital at 10:30 a.m. during treatment.
The deceased's son-in-law, Janakpurdham-21, 48-year-old Bechan Mahaseth of Kurtha absconded after the incident. Spokesman Singh said that he is being searched for and further investigation is ongoing.
