A man who was absconding after killing his wife has been arrested by the police stationed from District Police Office Gaur after three years.
Although the police arrested the fugitives on Friday, the district police released the information only on Monday.
District Police Office Gaur DSP Deepak Kumar Rai informed that her husband Fayad Mia Mansuri was arrested on the charge of murdering 20-year-old Chandni Khatun, who was found dead in a wheat field in Ishanath Municipality-4 Mathia Toll of Rautahat on the morning of 26th January 2078.
According to the district police, Chandni's body was found with a shawl wrapped around her neck and a shawl stuffed in her mouth. Mansuri, who absconded after the
incident, was arrested in the village on June 13, and the district court, Gaur, has extended the investigation. He was hiding in the village of Mansur, who escaped after being killed. Although the police tried to catch him several times, he managed to escape.
