Siraha police have arrested a defendant in the incident of looting money by showing a pistol to the bank employees and the police. The police arrested the defendant in the case of looting money from Global IME Bank in Kalyanpur on Thursday. According to District Police Office, Sirha, the arrested person is 30-year-old Sujan alias Sujan of Triyuga Municipality-12 in Udaipur.
Lohani was arrested from border area Sirha municipality-17 Khairtoka.
On February 10, 2079, while going to the Kalyanpur branch with 9 lakh rupees from the branch of the bank in Mirchaiya, a group of four people including Lohani, including the bank employees and the security police, showed a pistol and robbed.
According to DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, police spokesperson of Siraha, they came on two motorbikes with unknown numbers and beat up the police constable Nikesh Khawas working at Kalyanpur area police office and the bank employee. After the
incident, he was secretly living in India. DSP Paswan informed that necessary action against Lohani has been submitted to Sirha District Court.
