On Thursday, one person was arrested with an undisclosed amount of money near the customs gate located in Gaur, the headquarters of Rautahat. The police team recovered more than 1 million rupees from him.

District Police DSP Deepak Kumar Rai informed that 30-year-old Mohammad Karman of Gaur-1 Transformer Chowk was arrested with 1 million four thousand five hundred Nepali rupees while stopping and checking various vehicles and pedestrians in front of the customs office located in Gaur municipality-1.

While coming to Nepal from Bairgania in India, when the motorcycle number BR 05 AE 705 driven by Karman was stopped and checked, DSP Rai said that the money was found hidden under the seat and in the helmet. "When we asked for the documents from where the money came from and what was its source," he said, "Further investigation is being done on the source of the undisclosed amount." After investigating the motorcycle and money, we will hand it over to Gaur Customs Office for further action.'
