An Indian died in a road accident in Bahudarmai Municipality-5 Patni on Saturday night. Both the vehicles involved in the accident were destroyed by fire.

At around 9:30 pm, an Indian Sumo bearing the number BR 01 PA 4409 going from Mahuwan to Dakaila and an unmarked motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with each other. Both vehicles fell 4 meters below the road and caught fire. The motorcyclist, 38-year-old Naresh Sah Warnwal of East Champaran, Bihar, India, was seriously injured. He died at 10 pm during treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birganj.

19-year-old Roshan Kumar Varnwal of Parsa Bahudarmai-5, Patni, who was riding behind the motorcycle, was injured and is being treated at Narayani Hospital. Parsa police said that Sumo driver is absconding and searching for him.
