The team of the Central Office of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Rajesh Srivastava, Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Parsa's Bahudarmai Municipality on Friday.
Parsa Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra has informed that a team of 2 people from the Central Office raided the municipal office and arrested Srivastava and took him to Kathmandu for necessary investigation.
In the same way, SP Mishra said that the same team also took the police assistant deputy Subba Sandeep Sah of Pokhria municipality into custody. "Akhtiar's team has only informed that they have taken these two people under control," he said, "They have not informed why and on what charge they have been taken."
Authority sources have said that both of them were arrested and taken for investigation on the charge of taking financial advantage by misusing their positions. Srivastava was previously the Chief Administrative Officer of Pokharia Municipality.
