Three months have passed since the President of the Democratic Samajwadi Party (LOSP) Mahanth Thakur selected the leader of the Madhesh Pradesh Parliamentary Party and sent it through a letter.
On March 24th, Chairman Thakur made Jainul Rain the leader of the party and sent a letter to the Madhesh Provincial Assembly. However, till now Raine has not been able to hold a party meeting. Rine has called the meeting three times but has not been able to reach a quorum.
One of the MPs of LOSPA expressed his displeasure saying that the leader of the party was not selected according to the constitution. There were 9 MPs of LOSPA in Madhesh Pradesh. Abhiram Sharma, who is also the leader of the party, was suspended by the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly on 18th Baisakh after he was found guilty by the District Court in Mahottari in the murder case of Asai Thaman of the Armed Police. After his suspension, the LOSPA was without a leader . There was even an exercise to make the leader of the party many times.
Member of Parliament Jitendra Sonal was made the leader of the party by the majority of MPs on August 14th. After that, party president Thakur sent a letter to the state assembly not to recognize Sonal as a leader on August 30.
