Armed Police Force Nepal No. 13 Gan Headquarters Parsa team on Sunday seized 2,400 banned broiler chickens in 24 cartons which were illegally imported from India and loaded on a motorcycle with Indian number and brought to Nepal. After
control, the necessary procedures were completed and it was destroyed in the presence of local people's representatives, media persons and representatives of the quarantine office. Parsa Information Officer Devendra Bahadur Singh has informed that 45-year-old Navi Dewan of Parsa Jaganathpur rural municipality-2 Janaki tol, who was arrested while bringing the said chick from India, has been handed over to Birgunj Customs Office for necessary action along with his motorcycle.
