The budget of the Madhesh state government for the financial year 2082-083 has been approved by the cabinet. The budget was approved by the Council of Ministers meeting held on Sunday afternoon.

With the approval of the budget, Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav along with Minister and Chief Minister Madhesh went to the state assembly. Now Finance Minister Yadav will present the budget for the upcoming financial year in the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly. The Madhesh State Assembly had set the agenda for the presentation of the budget at 4 o'clock. However, due to the delay in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the budget speech has not started yet.

The Madhesh government is going to increase the size of the budget from the next financial year.
