Excess amount will be discouraged
Finance Minister of Madhesh Province, Sunil Kumar Yadav has presented the principles and priorities of the budget for the coming financial year. Minister Yadav presented the 25-point principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill-2082 in the Provincial Assembly on Sunday.
In point number 10 of the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill, it has been mentioned that the practice of keeping the Abanda budget as a ministry will be discouraged. In the past, the ministers used to keep a large amount of money and transfer the money voluntarily. When the question about transparency was raised, the government took a strategy to discourage it.
The goal of creating a self-sufficient economy in the province has been taken through the upcoming budget. It will be encouraged by increasing the production of each sector. The government is preparing to conduct a program to minimize the negative effects of climate change for sustainable and rapid development.
Human development and social justice areas have been given special priority to minimize social evils. The aim of the government is to coordinate and cooperate with municipalities, associations, government and private organizations. It is mentioned in the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill that special programs will be conducted to maintain people-friendly service delivery and good governance.
In terms of physical infrastructure, the government has made preparations to accelerate the construction of houses for the poor and modernize, commercialize and mechanize the agricultural sector.
