One of the two divers who went missing after drowning in the Koshi River located in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-1 of Saptari is yet to be found.

Hardev Rajvanshi, No. 1 Shri Antu Gana Ilam, working at Dantkali Special Task Training Training School Saptari, and No. 13 Gana Parsa, No. 2 Suraj Saud, working at Chinnamasta Bahini Headquarters, went missing while practicing monsoon disaster preparedness program on Thursday.

While searching for them, the body of Armed Police Constable Rajwansi was found about 3 kilometers south of the incident site (Koshi Barrage) on Friday, but the condition of another Armed Police Constable Saud is still unknown . SP Gyanmani Paudel of No. 6 Gan Headquarters Saptari said that the search for Saud is ongoing. According to him, divers and disaster management trained teams from Dantkali training school No. 6 Gana Saptari and disaster management training school Kurintar are searching for him.

After it was decided to hold a state-level disaster preparedness program in the river on Saturday, both of them, who were practicing, got stuck in the water from the gate number 55/56 of the barrage and went missing . SP Paudel said that the disaster preparedness program was suspended after the incident.

Rajwanshi from Jhapa and Saud from Doti completed diver training in 2080 and 081.
