A large quantity of drugs and a businessman have been detained by the police from Siraha. On Tuesday, Siraha police seized drugs and a businessman from different places of Lahan municipality.

According to the police, a motorcycle and a bag were found in Lahan Municipality-4 Kumal Tol at 10 am on Tuesday. Police said that when they opened it, they found 193 bottles of drugs called Unrex.

After the drug and motorcycle were seized and investigated, it was revealed that its owner was 22-year-old Mohammad Nasrul of Lahan municipality-19 and he was also arrested from Lahan on the same day afternoon, said Siraha Police Spokesperson DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan.

According to DSP Paswan, he was followed by the police based on a tip-off. However, when he saw the police, he left the drugs and motorcycle on the road and ran away.

He informed that more investigation work is being done on him after receiving a five-day deadline from the Siraha District Court.
