A video of the head of customs hiding a motorcycle in the trolley of his vehicle has come out when the Rajviraj Customs Office is accused of colluding and auctioning vehicles.
In the video that is going viral on social media, it is seen that the ``Hero's Glamour'' motorcycle with no number mentioned is being hidden in the trolley of the vehicle numbered 2 Jh 1343 used by the Chief of Customs, Satyanarayan Singh. In the first 'clip' of the
video, some people are loading a motorcycle and some belongings in the trolley of the vehicle in the premises of the customs office.
It has been confirmed that the customs chief Singh is going to the house (Dhanusha) in the vehicle that went west through Rajviraj at around 3 pm on Friday. Customs Chief Singh responded that while he was going home to repair the motorcycle of the office, someone took a video and it went viral in Anahak. However, he said that he did not remember the name of the garage and the number of the motorcycle. Is there a ``hero's glamour'' motorcycle in that condition at the customs office? Chief Singh did not want to speak on the question.
In the second phase of the auction on June 9th, 13 out of 20 motorcycles were bid by one person (Abhishek Choudhary of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-15 in Morang) and all 13 motorcycles were bid only one hundred rupees more than the minimum price. Sources claim that in the first phase, 54 motorcycles, 5 tractors, 6 cars and 128 'scrap' vehicles were auctioned in collusion with the customs office.
Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal said that more understanding is being done on those matters. "After we saw that video on social media, we asked Customs chief Singh in the first step, the answer came that the motorcycle is being taken for repair," he said, "further understanding is being done." Action will be taken if found to be wrong.'
