Due to the delay in the construction of the road, the youth have been protesting in the main market of Rajviraj since Tuesday morning.
The local youths staged a road jam at Neta Chowk demanding that the road from Ram Mandir to Neta Chowk should be paved immediately. Even before this, the municipality and the construction company had promised that the road would be blacked out by June 20th when they blocked the road at the same place.
However, the youth leader Khelananda Das informed that he had to reschedule due to non-fulfillment of the commitment. He said that the traffic jam will continue until the road is blackened. . Due to traffic jam, all the non-essential vehicles are stopped in the market, while some vehicles are using other roads.
Israt Pravin, acting head of the municipality, said that they are coordinating with the construction company to build the road.
