Ramsulit Mahatto, Accounts Officer of Division Forest Office, Mahotta, has submitted a petition to the District Administration Office, demanding peace and security as he was assaulted inside the office premises. Chaudhary, the construction businessman who got the contract for the construction of the green park, has also alleged that the head of the office, Ajay Mishra, did not react when he was given the contract to build the green park. He has also alleged that instead of 2.5 feet of soil to build the green park, only 1.5 feet of soil was added, and because of the need to install colored zigzag blocks, he put pressure on payment contrary to the construction contract.
For the payment of contractor Chaudhary, besides engineer Rakesh Pandey, office head Ajay Mishra Mahato alleges that he was assaulted when he was pressured and inquired about documents that the payment process was not completed. He said that the head of the office, Mishra, has also transferred the forest guards who came to rescue during the clash.
Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Risal said that the Division Forest Office had a disagreement and was in the process of understanding the problem. According to him, Chief Mishra has been called to understand this. About the dispute in the office, Mishra said that he would not talk about it immediately.
Dinesh Chaudhary, a construction businessman, reached the office on Tuesday and said that he only asked when the payment would be made and said that the employees were not abused, assaulted or threatened. The state government allocated 20 lakh rupees for the construction of a green park in Jaleshwar.
NK Construction Jaleshwar got the contract for the construction of the park for 19 lakh 95 thousand 933 rupees. Bechu Kumar Mishra, Forest Officer, said that they are planning to plant trees in an area of 1700 square meters using PCC slopes and blocks.
The employees of the office say that the one division office has adopted a style of competition between the builders limited to the contract process and financial transactions have been made from the builders before the contract agreement.
In the office complex, the building contract with a budget of 50 million has been awarded for 40 percent of the bill (less) amount, but the construction of the park, which involves soil work, has been reduced to only 4 thousand in the budget of 20 million.
Division Forest Office Mahottari published a notice on 23rd January 2081 to build a park, it was found that 5 weeders fell and only 3 weeders participated in the competition. A quorum has been reached among the three bidders who participated in the process and an agreement has been reached to work with the low budget (low bidder).
Construction businessman Chaudhary and office chief Mishra have pressured the accounting officer Mahato to pay the running bill of the park construction which was agreed at 19 lakh 95 thousand 933 rupees.
