Manav Seva Ashram Birganj has rescued 292 street people during 8 years. According to the statistics of Manavseva Ashram Birgunj, the branch which was established on 15th June 2074 has rescued 292 people so far.

Among them, 125 people have been successfully reunited with their families. 36 people have committed suicide in the ashram. 84 people have been rehabilitated. At present, 47 women, men and children are dependent in Manavseva Ashram Sirsia.

On 15th June 2074, the branch rescued a disabled youth named Shankar from Narayani Hospital premises in Birgunj and started the service of Manavseva Ashram Birgunj. Since then, the ashram has been continuously rescuing, treating, fostering, protecting and family reunification of the destitute, helpless, disabled, parentless, physically and mentally weak people who are forced to live a very difficult life in open air streets and public places. 

According to Devesh Gupta, the founder of Ashram Birgunj, the ashram was operated by renting a house behind the Indian Consulate in Birgunj for 5 years from 2074 to 2079. From 080 to Birganj-25 Sirsia, the ashram is currently being operated in a house built for an old age home. 

Birganj - 15 Lakshmanawa, the Ashram's own facility-equipped building is under construction at a cost of around 20 million rupees on 14 kathas of land provided by the Birganj Municipal Corporation. 

Manavsewa Ashram has said that within 082 years, it is providing services to the needy by operating 27 service centers in 21 districts of the seven provinces in order to build Nepal, a nation without families, abandoned, destitute and helpless people.
