A person who went to pick kurilo in Parsa National Park died after being attacked by a wild elephant.

On the 9th of June, 61-year-old Shyam Bahadur Bhulan, 60-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Ale and 51-year-old Shravan Bhulan of Makwanpur Manhari Rural Municipality-2 went to dig in the Sitalpur forest near Rambhauri in Patervasugauli Rural Municipality-1. At that time, a wild elephant suddenly attacked Shyam Bahadur Bhullan and he died.

A police team under the command of Police Inspector Prakash Thapa from the area police office Patervasugauli was deployed at the scene. DSP Kishore Lamsal, spokesman of Parsa Police, informed that the police conducted a bond at the scene and sent the body to Narayani Hospital Birganj for post-mortem.
