The police arrested an Indian youth from Birganj with drugs. The arrested person is Muhammad Riyaz Ansari, 30 years old from Dhakagram Phulwariya, Motihari Police Station, Bihar District, India.

He was arrested with narcotics by the regular checking team deployed from police station Gandak in Birgunj Metropolitan City-14 Gandak on 9th June. While checking the vehicles and passengers, the public vehicle No. BA 06-001 J 0407 going from Birganj to Narayangadh was stopped and 5 thousand 990 tablets of tramadol capsules were found hidden in a sack of rice by Bharat Ansari on the roof of the vehicle. 

Parsa police spokesman DSP Kishore Lamsal informed that an extension of time has been taken from the Parsa District Court on the drug-related offense of Ansari.
