A large quantity of marijuana was recovered from Balan Bihul Rural Municipality-2 Dighia of Saptari on Wednesday evening. The marijuana was recovered from a locked house packed in 16 sacks.
SP Dhakendra Khatiwada informed that the team of the district police office recovered the marijuana based on a tip-off. According to him, the seized marijuana is being weighed.
SP Khatiwada said that there are about 25/26 kg of ganja in one sack. The police said that further investigation is being conducted on the matter.
