A team of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has reached the office of Siraha Municipality for the second day as well. A team from the Bardibas office of the authority also reached the municipality on Tuesday.
According to authority sources, the authority team from the municipality has taken control of documents related to some of the plans that have been complained about. Complaints have been lodged with the authority saying that there are irregularities in various plans in the municipality.
Tulsiram Poudel, the information officer of Bardibas, did not give a clear answer on this matter. "Our team keeps going, there are three or four teams in the field, they may have gone," he said.
The authority's team also reached the municipality on Monday. According to authority sources, documents such as revenue collection, pool contracts, and audit reports were seized.
