Two people were killed when a motorcycle collided with the back of a tractor in Saptari's Malekpur under Hulaki highway on Saturday afternoon.
SP Dhakendra Khatiwada, Chief of Police of District Police Office Saptari has informed that the identity of both the deceased persons has not been disclosed.
The accident took place when the tractor No. 5442 loaded with bricks coming from Pathargadha towards Rajviraj and the motorcycle No. MPR02-019 P9626 coming from the opposite direction collided with the back of the tractor.
Three people riding the motorcycle, whose name, surname and nationality have not been disclosed, were injured and were brought to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajviraj for treatment in a critical condition.
Out of the three injured, one aged 26-27 died while being brought to the hospital and another 22-23-year-old youth died after being brought to the hospital, said SP Khatiwada.
Another injured person is being treated in critical condition.
