Three people have been arrested from Siraha with the drug marijuana. Siraha police arrested three people with marijuana from Naraha rural municipality-1 Devipur on Sunday.
Those arrested are 35-year-old Sanjay Das of Naraha Rural Municipality-1, 31-year-old Ram Sharan Das of the same place and 20-year-old Dhiraj Mahato, the driver of Sanjay Das's car, who is a resident of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-4 of Bara.
According to the police, 31 kg 820 grams of ganja was recovered from the Shidhiksha animal husbandry and agriculture firm operated by the arrested Sanjay in Devipur. The police got the information that they were storing and selling marijuana in that firm.
The police also seized 4 mobile phones and a machine for sewing marijuana bags from them. Police chief of Siraha, Superintendent of Police Anantaram Sharma said that a detailed investigation is being conducted on this matter after receiving a deadline from the Siraha district court.
