Parsa police arrested a defendant in the criminal case related to foreign employment on Wednesday. The arrested person is 68-year-old Sitaram Prasad Kurmi of Birgunj Metropolitan City-24. A case was filed against him in Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu on May 7.
According to Suresh Singh Ghimire's statement, the department had written to Parsa Police on 17th Baisakh to arrest Kurmi who was involved in the crime case related to foreign employment, in which the plaintiff Nepal government was also the defendant Deepak Prasad Kurmi.
The police team deployed from the District Police Office, Parsa, arrested Kurmi while he was hiding in his house while conducting a search. Parsa police spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal informed that he was handed over to the police personnel and sent to the department after his arrest.
