Rautahat Police has arrested a person with goods that were imported into Nepal after evading customs from India. The arrested person was made public on Tuesday.
According to the District Police Office, the arrested person is 37-year-old Rakesh Paswan of Ishanath Municipality-1 in Rautahat. On 21st Baisakh, at 11 o'clock in the night, the police patrol team arrested him from the bank of Lalbakaiya river in Gaur municipality-4 along with clothes worth about 233,000 rupees.
Two motorcycles without number plates were also recovered from Paswan's possession, the police informed. According to the district police office, he was handed over to Gaur customs office on Tuesday along with the recovered motorcycle and clothes.
