An Indian citizen has been arrested from Siraha with the drug brown sugar. 35-year-old Dharmendra Yadav of Kamlawari Gram Panchayat-6 in Madhuvani district of Bihar was arrested.

According to District Police Office Sirha, he was arrested on Saturday evening along with brown sugar from Ajay Hotel and Liquor Shop which he operated in Sirha Municipality-17 Khatoka.

The police seized 5 grams and 480 milligrams of brown sugar from his shop, which was kept for sale and distribution. According to DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, police spokesperson of Siraha, based on a special information, the police went to his shop and searched his shop.

According to the Sirha police, they are conducting a detailed investigation on him after receiving a 6-day deadline from the Sirha district court.
