Who placed two packets of vermilion and crown on the bench of the High Court?

2 packets of vermilion and one ordinary crown. Both items are not very expensive and rare. But after these items were mysteriously placed on the court judge's table, many doubts were raised.

A similar incident took place in Birganj on Wednesday. This incident which took place in the temporary bench of the High Court Janakpur here surprised everyone. The police had to come and start an investigation into the incident. But the police have not been able to get to the bottom of the incident.

An unknown woman enters the courtroom table of Chief Justice Rajan Prasad Bhattarai between 8:45 and 46 minutes in the morning. The lady puts 2 packets of vermilion and a small crown on the table.

That woman disappears from the bench in less than 1 minute. CCTV cameras are not installed in the court. But in the camera outside the courtroom, it was seen that the woman did not take even a minute to do this. Court information officer and deputy registrar Shammikpur Sah said that this incident which happened before the sitting of the court on Wednesday morning also affected the court.

"At around 10 o'clock when the court staff went to put the files etc. in the ijals, we got a tip about it when we saw vermilion and crown on the table," Shah said, "We informed the police, the police have come and started the investigation, we have also given the available CCTV camera footage to the police."

Generally, the presence of the police in the court premises is around the clock. In the morning, the sitting room is opened for cleaning purposes.

Sah has said that the woman seen on the camera has not been seen by any of the court staff before. "We initially investigated whether the woman had anything to do with the court," he said.

He said that the regular work of the bench started from around 12 noon. He said that since they have given all the information to the police, the police will do the rest of the investigation.

DSP Kishore Lamsal, Information Officer of the District Police Office, said that after receiving information about the incident from the High Court, he sent a team from the Ward Police Office Sripur there and started the necessary investigation.

"We see that an unknown woman has entered the courtroom, but no one knows her," Lamsal said, "She may have some connection with the court, she may be a party to a case or some other woman."
