Two young men have been arrested with pistol and bullets from the border area of Siraha. They were arrested from Nargi Chowk in Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality-1, Kachanari.
According to the police, the arrested persons are 19-year-old Rajiv Singh and Prince Singh of Piparahi Gram Panchayat-2, Kamalpur in Madhuvani district of Bihar, India. They were arrested last Monday afternoon, according to the District Police Office, Siraha.
When they came on a motorcycle with Indian number plates, when they were suspiciously checked at Nargi Chowk, a pistol hidden in Prince Singh's waist and a bullet hidden in his tracksuit were recovered, said DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Siraha.
He said that a detailed investigation is being conducted on them with a deadline of five days from the Siraha District Court. He said, 'We are investigating why they came, what is their purpose.'
