Earlier on Sunday, the first railway rack brought 2,500 tons of urea fertilizer. As Salt Trading is going to import 30 thousand tons of urea fertilizer from the global tender, the same consignment of fertilizer has started coming in continuously.

The supplier company is bringing this consignment of fertilizer from China. He informed that out of the total 30,000 tons, Birganj Regional Office will get about 12,774 tons of fertilizer. The rest of the fertilizer will be received by Bhairahawa and Biratnar regional offices.

He said that till Thursday, 63 tons of fertilizer had been mobilized in Hetaunda, 42 tons in Kathmandu and 22 tons in Dhanusha. office has been mobilizing fertilizers in 16 districts of Madhesh province, Bagmati and Gandaki. Lamichhane said that the fertilizers that have been brought in are being useful for Chaite paddy crops in Terai and hill districts.

Madhesh district will get 7 thousand 155 tons of fertilizer from this consignment, Bagmati district will get 3 thousand 996 tons and Gandaki district will get 1 thousand 323 tons of fertilizer. Lamichhane said that fertilizers are mobilized from Koshi Regional Office in Saptari and Sirha districts of Madhesh province.
