The platform of the program on 'India's role in the prosperity of Nepal', organized by the Independent Democratic Youth Association of Nepal, was seen to be devoid of women.

A dozen people including top leaders and experts were present in the program which started in Janakpurdham on Tuesday afternoon. However, not a single woman was present on the stage. At the beginning of the

program, Nepal-India expert Uddhav Pyakurel, while presenting the work paper, drew attention to the fact that the stage was devoid of women. He suggested the organizing organization to have three-four women experts in the coming days. He started presenting the working paper saying that there will be no prosperity and inclusiveness in democracy without women. Arvind Mahato, the president of the

organizing organization, admitted that women experts could not be called for 'various reasons'.
