A farmer has died due to lightning in Siraha. 45-year-old Bechan Rohita of Kalyanpur Municipality-6, Bhokraha died due to lightning.

According to the district police office, Siraha, he was struck by lightning while working in his own wheat field on Thursday evening.

The body of the deceased has been sent to the provincial hospital in Siraha for post-mortem.
