Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has directed to close 11 private hospitals in Barhathwa in Sarlahi. Chief Minister Singh has ordered to lock 11 hospitals that do not have permission to operate services, do not have physical structures according to standards, do not have proper arrangements for manpower management, equipment-tools and medicines.
Sankatmochan Health Care Pvt Ltd, Sanjeevani Hospital Pvt Ltd, Happycare Medical Pvt Ltd, Sarlahi Golden Hospital Pvt Ltd, Unit Hospital Pvt Ltd, Venus Health Care Pvt Ltd, Barhathwa Navjeevan Hospital Pvt Ltd, Hanumant Hospital Pvt Ltd, Bhubaneswar Dental Clinic, Jai Maa Health Care and Barhathwa Polyclinic are among the health institutions which have been instructed to close.
On Wednesday night, during the monitoring of health institutions in Barhathwa, they were directed to close those hospitals that did not receive permission to operate services, were operating services contrary to legal provisions, were not renovated and were operating contrary to standards, said Anil Kumar Karn, press advisor to Chief Minister Singh.
Public Health Officer of the Ministry of Health and Population, Santosh Thakur, informed that health institutions that have been closed have been given clear written instructions that they can operate only after obtaining service operation permits according to the law, renewing them and meeting the standards.
Chief Minister Singh has recently started a campaign to bring the private health institutions that have been opened in Madhesh under the legal framework.
