A girl from Surunga Municipality-7 Ramtol of Saptari was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Nagendra Ram's 20-year-old daughter Pooja Kumari was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday.
Saptari Superintendent of Police Dhakendra Khatiwada informed that after Pooja's body was found in a suspicious condition about one kilometer south-east from the house, Provincial Police Office Janakpur has started a detailed investigation.
According to him, the body has been sent to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post-mortem. "After the suspicious body was found, we have started the investigation with the help of a trained dog," he said, "It will be clear after the further autopsy report."
Pooja's mother Ramavatidevi was sleeping at home with her brother Vishwajit on Monday night after going to watch Ashtayam. While searching for the missing Pooja, the body was found in the morning.
