The house of a Musahar family was damaged by the storm that came on Monday night in Mahdeva located in Mirchaiya Municipality-1 of Siraha. Due to the storm, the house of the local Fudur Devi Sada was damaged.
The tin roof of his house on the Ailani land near the public pond in the village has been blown away by the wind, due to which this family is now in trouble. Fudur Devi is a single woman.
He has two sons, who live in India for work. Now 43-year-old Fudurdevi and her daughter were living in this house. She said that after the storm blew away the house, she spent the night in a neighbor's house.
But since Tuesday, he is worried about how and where to live. 'We were at home, suddenly the wind blew and destroyed the house,' Fudurdevi told Kantipur, 'We asked for shelter from the neighbor at night, but now I am worried about how and where to stay.'
Fudurdevi said that she built this house three years ago from her son's earnings by spending 45 thousand rupees. But now he says that he has no money to repair the house. 'A house is a must,' she said, 'but there is no money in hand, on the contrary, there is debt.'
Sanjay Sah, member of judicial committee and ward member of Mirchaiya Municipality, said that now this family is in trouble as they have no home to live in. 'This family has been hit by thunder,' he said, 'I will also take initiatives towards the municipality for relief.'
