Rajdevi municipality-8 Lakshmipur Belbichwa checkpoint on Saturday night armed police arrested an Indian with a gun and weapons.

India Bihar Sitamarhi District under Bairagania Police Station Area Gram Panchayat  SP Santosh Kumar Basnet informed that 23-year-old Kishan Kumar of Nandbara village was arrested with pistol and drugs.

At around 9:30 pm, the patrol team of the Armed Police Border Out Post of Laxmipur reached the Jaiswal Liquor Shop located in Laxmipur Belbichwa Naka and arrested the Indian citizen Kishan with a pistol. 

SP Basnet informed that one automatic pistol, 3 tablets of prohibited drug Corex Syrup, 5 tablets of Nitrovet and a mobile phone were recovered from Kishan. According to the Armed Police, the arrested Indian Kishan was handed over to the District Police Office, Gaur on Sunday for further investigation and necessary action.
