Chief District Officer (PRA) of Saptari, Bhola Dahal, monitored the border area on Friday after complaints of increased smuggling in the border area. He reached the border area of Balan Bihul Rural Municipality-4 Belhi.
As soon as they reached Prazia, the police arrested a person who was smuggling goods on an Indian motorcycle bearing the number BR 32-4248. Two sacks of sugar, one sack of dal and other groceries were being brought in the said motorcycle.
The police have also detained Chanchal Chaudhary, 28 years old from Bode Barsain Municipality-5, a motorcycle driver.
