It has been confirmed that a 13-year-old girl from Golbazar Municipality-9 of Siraha, Gulsna Khatun, was electrocuted in her field.
Gulsana's body, who had been missing from her home since February 29, was found wrapped in a sack in a ditch on Chait 12 near the Ghurmi River.
After that, the police started investigating the incident. The police announced the cause of death after two weeks of investigation. A joint team of the Central Investigation Bureau, Madhesh Police Office and the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, concluded that Bir Bahadur Sarki, a resident of Gulsana, who had gone to cut grass, was electrocuted by an animal threshing machine in the maize field.
The police said that Saraki buried the body in a pit to hide the death. Saraki has already been arrested by the police on Saturday. DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, the spokesperson of the district police office, said that they are conducting further investigation on the crime related to life after receiving a seven-day deadline from the Sirha district court on Sunday.
