The body of a woman who had been missing for seven days was found on Thursday in the forest of Vrindavan Municipality-1 Bishrampur in Rautahat. The police have arrested two people suspected to be involved in the incident.

The body of 45-year-old Phulmatia Devi, wife of Rupan Raut Patel of Vrindavan-1 Baleri Khor, was found buried in the forest, DSP Rajan Karki of the area police office Garuda informed. According to him, Phoolmatiya went missing on the evening of Chait 14th while she was returning home from a shed built near the forest about one and a half kilometers east of her house. During the search, her slippers and saree were found in the maize field near the house, 100 meters east.  After the

incident, the victim's family submitted an application to the police office for a search. On the eighth day of Phulmatiya's disappearance, a team under the command of DSP Karki searched and found the body buried in a hole in the Ramlal Partnership Forest in Balleri Khor. District Police DSP Deepak Kumar Rai informed that an investigation has been started to determine whether he was murdered or not. "Since the dead body of Baramad woman has been identified, it is yet to be revealed who killed her and why," he said. Soon the reason will be found.' 

The police have arrested Jitendra Patel and Sushil Vishwakarma of Vrindavan-1 for their involvement in the incident. The police said that they have interrogated both of them.
