The Janakpur-Jaleshwar road, which was blocked on Sunday, has been brought into operation by the police using force, demanding action against those involved in the stabbing of Anshu Yadav on the day of Holi festival.

According to DSP Varun Bahadur Singh, spokesperson of District Police Office Dhanusha, the security personnel fired 10 rounds of tear gas to disperse the locals who had blocked the road since 9 am. I am at the scene. Now the situation is under control," said DSP Singh.

Since Sunday morning, locals had blocked the Bindi of Janakpur-Jaleshwar road section by burning tires. The security personnel who went to open the road were chased away by pelting stones. Security personnel used force to control the situation. According to the police, dozens of locals and security personnel were also slightly injured in the clash.
