The Armed Police of Revenue Investigation Unit Office Pathalaiya arrested two persons with 8.5 kilos of opium from Jitpur Simra sub-metropolitan city-1 on Friday.

When the car number 029 Ch 5414 Bagmati Province was stopped and checked, two people were detained along with the opium, which was being smuggled to India, and further investigation is underway, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijayraj Pandit, Spokesperson of the District Police Office. According to him, 44-year-old Milan Bholan and 47-year-old Gopal Prasad Gautam of Makwanpur, Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city of 12 were arrested.
