The body of an old woman who has been missing since Friday afternoon has been found. The body of 68-year-old Anshia Agarwal, resident of Birganj-4, was found in Birganj-16 Nagwa on Saturday morning.
According to Parsa police spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal, the body of the old woman was found in the compound of the house under construction. She left home around 2 pm on Friday. The incident site is near Nagwa police station.
According to the police, the deceased woman seems to have fallen on the spot. The edges of the ears and the fingers of the hands look like they have been eaten by an animal. Apart from this, no injuries or bruises were found in other parts of the body. Lamsal said that only after the post-mortem can he tell about the incident.
The body has been sent to Narayani Hospital Birganj for autopsy.
