Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPPA) protested against the arrest of its leaders and workers in Birganj on Saturday. The protestors burnt tires and chanted anti-government slogans at Ghantaghar Chowk.
Party central member Angat Thakur, Parsa Vice President Awadkishore Shah, Nagina Yadav, student youth leader Dipesh Shah and others participated in the demonstration. Addressing the protest meeting, the leaders have also warned that they will completely close the Birganj market from Sunday if their leaders and workers are not released immediately.
