Corn, wheat, vegetables, fruits and other crops were damaged by the wind and hail that hit the municipalities of Brindavan, Chandrapur, Gadhimai and others in Rautahat on Saturday morning.

MP Devprasad Timalsina, Yuvraj Bhattarai and former MP Kalyani Khadka have demanded from the government for details of the damage and compensation. DSP Deepak Kumar Rai of the district police said that the details of how much damage has been done in which municipality has not yet been received. Agricultural Knowledge Center Gaur has also informed that the work is being done to collect the details of the damage.
