Seniors Aheb and Anmi working in Madhesh province staged a dharna in front of the provincial assembly on Friday. They staged a sit-in saying that the upgradation was stopped due to an error in the Local Services Act.

A large number of security personnel stopped them outside the secretariat premises when they went to sit in the secretariat of the state assembly in Janakpur. If the demand is not met, they have warned that they will hold an indefinite dharna in front of the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers from March 16.
