Demand action against those who discriminated against Dalit families in Siraha

The MPs of the Madhesh Pradesh Sabha have objected to the uprising of Dalit families in the name of conducting Maha Yajna in Aurhi Rural Municipality-5 of Siraha. They have demanded strict action against the people's representatives who have lost humanity.

In the meeting held on Thursday in the Madhesh State Assembly, the members of the Madhesh State Parliament have condemned the demolition of the house of Deepak Malik and the uprooting of that family in the name of Vishnu Mahayagya.

Speaking at zero time, State MP Neelam Kumari Rajak demanded strict action against those who destroy Dalit houses and encroach on them under any name. "Injustice has been done to the Dalit family in the name of Yagya," said Rajak, "I demand action according to the law to the person who caused the uprising."

UML MP Lakhan Das Tatma accused the government of keeping silent despite repeated atrocities on Dalits in Madhesh state. "It has been an inhuman act to evict the Malik family, who have been living with their families for 30 years," said MP Tatma, "all those who defecate the untouchables should be punished."

Maoist Member of Parliament Malakumari Karna expressed her grief saying that some people along with other rural village presidents are inhumane to kill the Malik family in the name of Maha Yagya. "Dalits have always been oppressed," she said, "the house of the Malik family should be settled immediately." Action should be taken against the guilty.'

Jaspa MP Lalita Das objected to the desolation of Dalit houses in Sirham before Rinku Sada's incident could be resolved. "I demand action against the people's representatives who have lost humanity," she said, "There should be an investigation and strict legal treatment." The state government should take steps to stop the happenings. Village chairman Shivji Yadav sent a dozer to demolish the house.
