Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has met with Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, India.

After reaching India and releasing the photo of his meeting with Yogi on Thursday, Singh responded that the meeting was positive. He also claimed that there was a discussion about the great potential of religious, cultural and touristic development of Madhesh province along with Janakpurdham.

'The meeting focused on the development of Ramayana Circuit, Sita Circuit, making Janakpurdham a mandatory destination for tourists to visit Ayodhya and the support of the Uttar Pradesh government for the promotion of religious tourism in Madhesh Province was positive,' he said.

Ministers of Madhesh state are unaware of Chief Minister Singh's visit to India. Minister of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water of Madhesh Province Shesh Narayan Yadav said that Chief Minister Singh will meet with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh or did not give any information about the visit in the Council of Ministers.
